HCMS Physicians' Hospital Survey
HCMS is committed to serving the needs of our members as they care for their patients and improve the health of our community.
Starting 2016, HCMS has been conducting its Physicians’ Hospital Survey to determine physicians' perspective and satisfaction with local hospitals' delivery of quality patient care by focusing on the following topics: Quality of Medical Care, Hospital Policies and Administration, Medical Staff Issues and Electronic Medical Records. On average, each of the surveys that HCMS conducted generated over 3,000 physician evaluations. The results generate dialogue and various initiatives at local institutions, that enhance collaboration between physicians and hospital administration. All surveys are anonymous. They are paid for by HCMS and the data is owned by HCMS. HCMS's goal is to improve the overall quality of care across all Houston hospitals.
