HCMS Physicians' Hospital Survey

HCMS is committed to serving the needs of our members as they care for their patients and improve the health of our community.

HCMS regularly conducts a survey to determine physicians' perspective and satisfaction with local hospitals' delivery of quality patient care. In 2018, almost 4,000 physician surveys were received that provided statistically valid results for 24 hospitals. The results generated dialogue between physicians and hospital administration at numerous hospitals. HCMS's goal is to improve the overall quality of care across all Houston hospitals. 

2022 Results

The survey was administered by Endeavor Management, a management consulting firm, and covered the following topics: Quality of Medical Care, Hospital Policies and Administration, Medical Staff Issues and Electronic Medical Records.
