HCMS Legislative Advocacy

HCMS represents your interests before the members of the Texas Legislature and our local members of Congress. Together with the Texas Medical Association (TMA), we bring in-depth knowledge of the issues that matter most to you to the doorstep of lawmakers and provide them with the education to make reasoned, well-informed decisions. In Washington, we keep our Congressional delegation informed about what is happening back home, so they can make decisions based on what is happening in Harris County, not inside the Beltway. We also keep our members informed about pending legislation that will affect you, your patients and your practice.
